Bruno Tabbal

Born and living in Beirut, Bruno Tabbal is a mid-thirties Lebanese singer/actor/director who expresses himself in writing as well. He writes in both English and French on his blog "CALEPIN REBELLE/REBELLIOUS NOTEBOOK" about the human condition, reflections about the philosophy of life and depictions of the Lebanese ways of living and thinking – a typical blend of western and oriental culture. He was raised both in the city and in the mountains which made him grow a great attachment to nature and to the Lebanese high-lands, and to his homeland and its traditions, in spite of all the difficult conditions his country seldom faces. His writing always includes descriptions of this unique and varied nature and identity crisis redundancy.
